I have been a consultant gynaecologist since 2008 and see patients for general women's health conditions such as menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, fibroids, menopause, endometriosis and cervical abnormalities.

My specific expertise are in gynaecological oncology, colposcopy, minimal access surgery, menopause, vaginismus and painful intercourse.

I am a core member of the oncology multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and colposcopy MDT enabling me to work with a team of health professionals to plan the best treatment for patients with confirmed or suspected cancer as well as complex colposcopy patients.
I also offer advanced laparoscopic surgery (key hole) and minimal access surgery to aid a quicker recovery time and a shorter hospital stay.

I am a certified colposcopist and member of The British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP), enabling me to perform cervical screening tests (smear tests), as well as colposcopy and treatment to the cervix to treat cervical pathology or post coital bleeding.

I also perform outpatient hysteroscopy (examination of the uterus) and operative outpatient procedures such as endometrial polyp and fibroid resection and endometrial ablation. I am the hysteroscopy lead for University Hospitals Birmingham.

To date I have performed over 600 laparoscopies and over 1,000 hysteroscopies to treat and investigate a variety of gynaecological conditions.
